Microblading

Microblading

Microblading is a procedure in which pigment is deposited into the epidermis in hair-like strokes using a fine blade. It is semi-permanent and results in natural looking brows. Microblading is an art and not an exact science. That is why we have an experienced artist that will give you a custom experience.

Powder Ombre

Powder brows use only machine shading to create a powdered effect. This technique is great for clients who want a well-defined brow tattoo. It is good for all skin types, especially oily skin with large pores.

Combo Brows

Combo brows use two permanent makeup techniques: microblading and machine shading to create a more defined eyebrow. This is good for clients who prefer well-defined brows and clients who have dark, patchy brows.

6 to 8 Week Touch Up

This first touch-up is required as it gives us the ability to correct any areas that possibly faded and allows the client to make suggestions if they want adjustments with the shape or color. In order to ensure that the brows heal perfectly a minimum of two treatments are usually needed 6-8 weeks apart on average.

Annual Touch Up

An annual touch-up is recommended as it gives us the ability to correct any areas that possibly faded and allows the client to make suggestions if they want adjustments with the shape or color. Touch-ups are usually needed 12-18 months apart

Pre - Care

If you have previous work by a different artist please text us photos of your brows to (904) 240-9278. Failing to send them could result in a cancellation fee if we are unable to proceed with the procedure.

  • Wear little to no makeup to see true skin undertones
  • Antibiotics increase the risk of poor ink retention
  • Microblading might not be for you if you are prone to Keloids
  • Cannot be pregnant or breastfeeding
  • Bring in photos of how you typically fill in your eyebrows & a brow pencil to see desired color
  • Wash your hair prior to your appointment
  • Do not work out for at least 12 hours before the procedure
  • Do not consume alcohol or caffeine for at least 12 hours before the procedure
  • Avoid taking Aspirin, Niacin, Vitamin E or Advil / Ibuprofen for at least 24 hours before the procedure
  • Avoid Fish Oil, Prenatal Vitamins, "Hair, Skin, Nail" supplements for at least 48 hours before the procedure
  • Avoid exposure to sun and tanning for at least 1 week before the procedure
  • No brow waxing, tinting, or threading for at least 1 week before the procedure (the more natural hair growth you have, the better)
  • Avoid planning vacations/water/sweating or sun exposure at least 10 days after treatment
  • Refrain from use of any Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products close to the eyebrow area for at least 2 weeks before the procedure
  • If you don't regularly receive injectables then avoid using Botox and Filler on the forehead, temple, and eye for at least 2 weeks before the procedure
  • Discontinue Retin-A for at least 4 weeks before the procedure
  • Avoid chemical peels, Microdermabrasion or facials for at least 4 weeks before to the procedure

After - Care

Expect eyebrows to appear darker and bolder due to natural healing for the first two weeks. This is common for all permanent cosmetic procedures.

  • Do not rub, pick or scratch the treated area
  • Let any scabbing or dry skin naturally exfoliate off
  • Picking can cause scarring and pigment loss
  • Do not expose yourself to direct sun or tanning beds for a minimum of 4 weeks after the procedure
  • Direct sunlight can cause the pigment to change color while it is healing and can also cause hyperpigmentation and scarring
  • Avoid Retin-A, Chemical Peels and Microderms around the brow area once healed
  • Avoid using Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) products around the eyebrow area after procedure
  • 10 days after the procedure and/or once the area has completely healed, it is recommended to use sunblock when going out in the sun to stop the color from fading
  • Avoid sleeping on your face/brows for 10 days after the procedure
  • Keep your bangs and hair pulled back from your face for 10 days after the procedure
  • Avoid any physical effort, gym, hot weather, or other activity that may cause sweating through or on the brows for at least 10 days after the procedure
  • Sweating can expel pigment from the dermis producing poor results
  • For the first 10 days, clean the area very gently with the provided cleanser
  • After the first 24 hours apply Aquaphor 1-2 times a day, light application after cleanse
  • Avoid any pool, sauna, steam room, hot shower and hot bath for 2 weeks after the procedure
  • No eyebrow tinting for at least 2 weeks after your procedure
  • No makeup or skincare products to be used on the treated area for two weeks after the procedure
  • No facials, chemical treatments and microdermabrasion for 4 weeks after the procedure
  • No Botox for 4 weeks after the procedure
  • It is recommended to wait until after your touch up heals to get Botox, as an educated injector will take your new brows into consideration when choosing where to inject
